Possibility to change the "handles"

I have not purchased SCAL. I tried SCAL in Dec. 2009, and I really did not like the "handles" of the program - the things you see all the time to scale images or paths. If any option could be added to the program to change the appearance of the handles to normal handles that are more reminiscent of photoshop or inkscape, I would buy SCAL in a heartbeat. But this is a big thing for me, and I hope to see it implemented.

Thanks in advance for your consideration......

That would be a programming feature that you would need to contact CraftEdge about directly. SCAL2, which you would have looked at, is no longer available. SCAL3 is the newest version and you would need a cutter other than Provo's product for it to be compatible. Just wanted to make sure you knew that ahead of time.

Yes I am totally aware of that, I cut with a gazelle and silhouette, and will be adding a cougar in the future. I did ask Todd about this but never received any answer. I figured that since there was a wishlist in the forum here..he would review wishlists from his user base and that is why I posted. I would be willing to purchase SCAL3, but not if I have to look at those handles all the time. They are just plain too irritating for me. I realize that SCAL has been around a long time and alot of the users here have gotten used to those handles, and that is why I made the suggestion of having an "optional" normal looking handles as an extra to be set as a preference for program preferences - - -so that people used to the original handles can keep them - - and people like me who find them weird can have more normal looking handles like most other vector programs.

Sigh...well I can continue to hope. I won't be purchasing SCAL however until I feel comfortable enough to look at my SCAL user interface, and that, unfortunately relates to the handles.

I am bringing this post back to the top for Todd/Brandon's attention.

I would love to see as a user option a different way to view those handles. It is just too much like another unmentionable program, and until I like looking at SCAL, I won't buy it.

I know many people have gotten used to those handles as they are. I am not advocating changing it, but simply adding in an option for a different set of handles, so that people who do not like the original doesn't have to look at them. I know I am not alone in this request, I am only perhaps the one who has vocalized it.

Hopefully someday this will be looked at.

I found the handles very difficult to wrap my head around at first. I did get used to them though, and I find that they work fine for me now.
