'weird' in what way? Sorry, just read the weird part on the other thread.

I have seen that, but sometimes I think it is the program trying to read the file as it was made perhaps originally in some program that scal can not read quite so fast. So, what I do, when that box is out of kilter, is SAVE, then reopen, and all is good again.
To me the problems are the fun part of it all now. Easy to say after messing with things for a year or more. In the beginning I was super frustrated for a time. Hope you can find the process to be fun no matter where it leads.

so using a shape from the shapes menu would also cause this to happen.
Still frustrating when trying to get a project finished to a deadline.
I know how to overcome it I just wish it wouldn't happen.
Also this is happening part way through one minute all is happy when I go to move something or resize it jumps out of its box,
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
happy crafting
