Open the Add or Remove Programs utility in Windows. 2. In the list of installed programs, find the antivirus program and select it by clicking it once with the left mouse button. To the right of the program name, click the Change/Remove or Uninstall button to initiate the uninstall process.

I use 2 virus protection for work and home... I have an official Windows 10 and its standard antivirus copes well with most threats. It has a drawback in that it can pass small viruses, for their cleaning once a week I use the free version Malwarebytes. It is not advertising, and recommendations, for 3 years was not with such protection any infection, loss of speed or loss of files.

craftedge wrote: Wed Sep 10, 2014 10:43 pm If you are using an anti-virus software and it is preventing you from installing/updating SCAL, these are false positives, provided you are downloading the installer from our website (www.craftedge.com)

Here are some instructions if you are using Norton to tell it to not flag it as a virus/threat.

1. Open your Norton product
2. On the main window click Tasks and there on the Security History option
3. On the opened window click on the drop down menu and select Quarantine
4. On the list find the file you want to restore
5. Click on More Details (bottom, right side)
6. On the new window click on Options (bottom)
7. Click on Restore file
8. Check the "do not detect it any more option" during the restore
9. Close windows
Thank you for helping
