Not exactly a cutting project, but...

Post by Qbrix »

I recently bought a Silver Bullet cutter, but haven't done much cutting yet. We are mostly still experimenting.

- At first we just sent the mat and paper through, but most cuts would not be precise.

- Then I tried to straighten out the mat while cutting, and this was much better!

- Today I started to make a more permanent solution, and although it is a little rough in the edges and it isn't finished yet, I like it a lot :)
The cutter is now placed ~12cm below the table, which ensures that the mat is horizontal at all times. By moving it away from the wall, I can also use my 60x90cm mat without problems.
