GALLERY PERMISSION error

Post by johntimber »

Hi,

I’ve searched but can’t figure this one out.
I am getting an error with new install of Beta 2 (12.0.0b.028) with Windows 7...
“GALLERY PERMISSION. DaVinci Resolve is unable to write to selected gallery path ResolveVirtual\.gallery as it does not have write mission for the gallery path selected and the first drive you list in Preferences”.
What is ResolveVirtual? Where is that directory? How do I give Resolve ‘permission’?
Under PROJECT SETTINGS > GENERAL OPTIONS > WORKING FOLDERS I have ‘ResolveVirtual’ in the directories - I'm assuming it defaults to... the C drive?
I set the scratch disk (in prefs) to a folder in D drive - which it has write permission to, I guess??

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

Hi John,

I don't really understand your post. First, just to confirm, this forum is for owners of a program called Sure Cuts A Lot. Is this the software you're referencing when you say Beta 2?
