Lettering Delights

Post by jrichards »

Did anyone notice the new svgs for sale at Lettering Delights? Just wondering if anyone bought them and found out if they are layered or just one layer, it wasn't very clear on the site. The prices seemed a little out of line too. Your thoughts please!

Hi Jan, I made the boxes on the Lettering Delights front page (and newsletter) as well as the Stocking Stuffer card that appears right after the boxes. The SVGs do come in layers except when there is no need for layers like in the various Box svgs. The same can be said of the Cards and Envelopes svgs. They are all just a single layer.

Right now there are 2 FREE svg files (Merriment Alpha, and Merriment) available on their site. You might like to give these files a try and yes, the svgs in these files do come with layers. ;)

Also, in case you decide to buy something, you can use the coupon HolidayDelight to take 30% off a $15 purchase. IF you are buying less than $15, you can still use a 25% off coupon code. Go to my blog http://underacherrytree.com/ and click on the link for the Free LD Gift Card Holder. Add it to your cart and checkout. You pay $0 for that file. After that, go to your email to retrieve your order confirmation. In it you should find a one-time use 25% coupon. :D

If you are interested, you can also download 4 free Lettering Delights templates in svg format that are currently only available on my blog. Just go to this post and scroll down to the end of the page.

I have enjoyed using their svg sets but sometimes I do reconfigure the layers especially when I find that there are too many unnecessary small layers. Anyway, I have put up a slideshow of some cards that I've made with their Feliz Navi Dog SVG set. You can view it here:

Enjoy!

Jin,
The slide show was a riot and your cards are very nice. Look a lot like something I would make. Thanks for the info, I kinda like the Father Christmas and maybe a few others. I think it is interesting that LD has discovered what all of us have known for a long time, we don't always want a whole cartridge or the price that goes with it, sometimes it is about a few items on that cartridge. Downloading them is just better for us and in the long run better for them. Someone said the are owned by ProvoCraft, anyone know if that is true?
Thanks for your reply Jin.
