I'm using a Mac Running Mac OS Big Sur Version 11.1. When I attempt to redownload and then install SCAL version 4 onto my Mac I get the following error message...

"SureCutsALot_4_078.pkg" can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. The software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.

I don't want to have to upgrade to SCAL version 5 as my license is for version 4.
How can I get around this issue?

The latest SCAL4 version is 4.094, not 4.078. I didn't have any issues downloading and installing it under Big Sur. So, use this link and enter you name and reg code and you SHOULD get 4.094 as the download file.

If you still cannot install this version, check under your Mac's System Preferences>Security & Privacy to make sure the option for App Store and identified develops is still activated.
