Just a quick note to those upgrading to SCAL2, you need a new serial number to be sent to you via email for it to work. If you don't receive one, you'll need to email them for it. I have mine now. So now I'm off to play!!! LOL

THANKS for the upgrade. I'll be taking my laptop to work tomorrow to play at lunch time.

Dan,
Thanks for the video! It makes it easier to decide to get the upgraded version.

I downloaded the trial version and played with it this morning. When I imported some SVG files, they opened in actual size. If this is a new feature, count me in.

Is there a way in the version 2.0 to select each individual letter in a word? If I want to space some letters farther apart, doesn't seem like I can figure out how to get the individual letter like I could in the previous version...

I'd be interested in this answer. I downloaded the trial. I do like it, but welding a word correctly seems difficult. I can't get the letters to overlap quite the way that looks the best.

Thanks!

Todd,
U DA MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just love the new version. All I usually do is cut from SCAL, but it is so much more functional.

This version is worth a million bucks...even in the economic times.

I just purchased SCAL in April and now I have to pay to upgrade? That somehow doesn't seem fair. Guess I will keep the old version I have.

Ditto! I've had mine for about a month. Doesn't seem right. I buy the software and then to get better features I have to hand over another $30. I think I'd rather spend the money on a new cart and use CDS.

I would think anyone who purchased the software in the last 30 days should get the upgrade for free.

To be fair I'd make it the last 90 days.
