Hello,

I just upgraded to the new Cricut Maker and Sure Cuts A Lot 5. I am trying to use the drawing tool (Pen) everytime I select the item I want to draw and select the pen tool SCAL closes. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Even though you cannot cut directly to your Cricut... you'll need to load a cutter into SCAL5. This came up with someone who had bought a new cutter but not yet received it and they were trying to learn SCAL5 ahead of time. So, go to Cutter>My Cutter>Manage Cutters and select anything (I think). I mostly just support KNK cutters so I'm not familiar with any differences that might appear with others. But since you're only designing files and not cutting to your Cricut, it probably won't matter.
