Can't open .scut3 files in SCAL4

I am not able to open .scut3 files in SCAL4. The files show up, but they are grayed out. Dragging and dropping the files into SCAL4 does not work, importing does not work. How do I open SCAL3 file in SCAL4 without recreating them each time?
