Hi Everyone, I have the Scan n Cut and was recommended SCAL4. I have downloaded the trial version to have a play before I purchase.
I looked at the FAQ and I've looked at some videos. I wanted to do words on a path and on an arch but, when I click on the T all I get is tracking and width etc but not the ones I want. Is it because it's the trial version? Hope you can help as the software looks very interesting.

You should be able to try out these functions in the trial version. Here's a link to a detailed user manual I've written for SCAL4. It will help you learn how to type out text. There are lots of effects in SCAL4 that will allow you modify text. Some of those are covered in the Text chapter but also check out some of the others that can be applied to text in the Designing chapter. If you run into issues with any of these, feel free to post back with details and questions and I'll help you.
