Sure cuts alot pro 4

i am new to the cutter/software industry and i'm sorry to ask a silly question but i have researched and can't find a yes or no. I have sure cuts alot pro 3 that came with the purchase of my cutter but i just paid to upgrade to the pro 4 version. Is sure cuts alot pro 4 different from sure cuts alot v4? very little tutorials to learn the 4

Yes, there are differences between SCAL 4 and SCAL4 Pro. However, I cannot list them all for you as I have not upgraded to the Pro versions. I do know that SCAL 4 Pro will let you "Cut by Color" - although you could do similar in SCAL 4 simply by putting separate colors on layers together and then open and close the layers to cut only that color. SCAL 4 Pro also offers the ability to cut longer than 72" which SCAL 4 limits you to. SCAL 4 Pro lets you add weeding lines, and has a tiling feature both of which SCAL 4 does not have.
