blade settings

Post by shawnda09 »

I can not get the settings right on my blade for the MH series us cutter. I've been using thicker outdoor vinyl and no matter how short my blade is or having no cutpress and the slowest possible speed it still pulls at the vinyl, it looks like it is weeding while its cutting, lol, its awful. so I would like to get some insight at what cutpress and speeds do other people use for types of vinyl and how much blade is sticking out.
I usually can get the sisereasyweed heat transfer vinyl just right at 60 cutpress and 200mm/s speed.

We recommend you contact USCutter
http://www.uscutter.com/index/page/stat ... contact_us
as they would probably have suggested settings for various vinyl types.

I'm using SCAL3 Pro 3... Do you have to pay to update to 4? I have a big big problem with the program crashing in the middle of designing... suggestions?

The last info I saw said you could upgrade to pro4 for 19.99. Check it out on the craftedge site. craftedge.com. If you find the price has changed let us know.

Well I contacted US CUTTER and their response was half credit card width.. which is completely wrong I know. I used some wd40 and adjusted the blade basically all the way in to where you couldn't see I with pressure or 20 and works perfect!!! I think the wd40 did the trick, just don't use to much!!
