text distoring

Hi there, I new to using SCAL pro 4 and when I use the stencil tool or erase tool on text to make a bridge it distorts the letters, is there a solution to this thanks!

Can you please try to download and install the latest update by either doing the Check for Update from the Help menu or downloading from
