Cutting Question
Cutting Question
I have the personal cricut. I am trying to cut a 12 inch border. It doesn't want to cut a full 12 inches. It's more like 11 1/2 inches. Any solutions to this?

Re: Cutting Question
depending on how deep or thick your boarder is you could place it at an angle on your mat at get a 12 inch long boarder.

Re: Cutting Question
Snow Lady,
Tell SCAL you have a 12 x 24 inch mat, then place your border on the top left portion of your mat. You will fool your Cricut into using that last half inch.
If you want to make yourself a longer mat either by cutting up a 12 x 24 mat or using a kitchen mat from walmart or the dollar store you can take advantage of this trick to cut all that length on your smaller bug. A little known feature of SCAL!

Re: Cutting Question
What kind of "kitchen mat' from the dollar store or Walmart will work?
