Offsetting (creating new) cut line from existing one

Post by TheRobsterUK »

Does anyone know how to create a new cut line from an existing one and have it appear at a precise offset in a given direction? I have a horizontal line and need to offset it several times exactly 6.2mm beneath itself to create a row of lines all 6.2mm apart from each other.

Thanks in advance! :-)

Even though I responded on Facebook, I'll repeat my answer in case others read this question in the future:

Use Object>Duplicate (or Ctrl+D) to duplicate any selected shape (or shapes). You can enter the desired spacing vertically and/or horizontally.
