Hi nice people :)

I use SCAL 5 & for the life of me cannot get the eyedropper to work with an image that I placed.
It's probably a simple fix, could you point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance,
Ken

Hi Ken,

I assume you're referring to the Dropper tool on the left side Tools Panel. Unlike in many raster programs where an eyedropper tool is used to identify the color of a particular pixel and then assign the default fill color with the same color values, this tool in SCAL5 is used in a different way. Its purpose it to change other vector shapes to the same color (or Fill pattern) as a chosen vector shape. To use, select one or more vector shapes that you wish to change, click on the Dropper icon, then select a shape that has the color (or other fill) you want to use. All of the selected shapes will then become that color.

If I misunderstood your original question or if you need help with anything else, please post back.
