Greetings,
I am new to this forum, trying to solve an issue with the blade carriage on my KNK Zing not traveling up and down. I am testing with a pen, the cutter travels the intended cut path but does not go up and down as intended. If anyone has any suggestions for trouble shooting this please let me know.
I am using a Mac computer.
Thank you!

Most likely, you need to replace the head cable. You can purchase a replacement at this link:

Thank you for your reply SandyMcC,
I hope this isn't a case but, I am relieved we can get parts for the machine. Do you think this would be something that would suddenly fail or would show some signs prior? Has anyone replaced a head cable on a Zing before?

It's definitely one of the more common replacements needed.
