Craft Edge

I have a file I downloaded from another SCAL group. When I view it in Inkscape I don't see any lines.
When I cut it in SCAL (I have registered version). It cuts a line on the right side and the bottom.

Also I would like to have everything welded except for the words Motor Harley-Davidson and Cycles. I want to put colored paper behind it.

Can anyone help me??
If not can anyone help me convert a logo that I got from their site to and SVG???

I have attached the file I downloaded that is giving me trouble.

All you need to do is open in Inkscape, click on the image (or control A), and from the menu select Object/Ungroup. If you don't want the outside square, select that and delete it.
