Cutting length for v4

Post by realred »

I've tried to search for an answer to this question, but couldn't quite find it. I have SCAL v4. How long of a cut can I make with this version? I am trying to cut a design that is 50 inches long with the Titan3 by USCutter. When I tell it to cut the blade just goes to the extreme left and doesn't cut. Thank you for your help.

The longest you can cut from regular SCAL4 is 72 inches. It seems that based on your problem description, either your project is wider than what you cutter can handle OR you have the wrong orientation selected and it's trying to cut your project left-to-right instead of up and down. If you post a screenshot of your project in SCAL and also a screenshot of the cut settings window, I can probably help you fix this.
