Craft Edge

I have been using Scal2 for almost a year now without a problem. I have a customer that sent me her logo in svg format and I tried to import it into scal2 and it said "Failed to load SVG file. I imported a jpg into inkscape and saved as an svg myself still the same error.
I can use other svg files, but not these. I can open all my other svg files and also my inkscape svg files without a problem.
anyone have have any suggestions?

It's hard to say what the issue might be. Randomly this will come up with not only SCAL but other cutter programs trying to import SVG files. And I've had SVG files rejected in another cutter program that SCAL had no problems importing! Go figure. The best bet is to see if the customer can export it in another format such as PDF or even as PNG... just something else that you'll be able to work with. Do you know what program the customer is using? That would be my first quesiton.

Thank you for the response. I just imported my own jpg into inkscape and did it that way. Seemed to work.
