when i try to cut something, it gets hung up on the initilazing phase. is there something i need to do?

i have been using SCAL2 on my old computer for years, but it would be easier if i could use it on my new computer. i can use it for design and stuff, but i can't get it to cut. :(

any ideas?

thanks!

Did you install the driver for your cutter onto this new computer?

It's not easy to know what to say without verification of which cutter you even own. Or which operating system you're using on your computer. Maybe provide a lot more information and someone can give you better suggestions. I only use SCAL4 myself, but since this is tied to the driver, it should be more about the cutter and computer bands/models.
