Object to path

Trying to curve some words and the directions say Object on Path. There is only an Object TO Path on the newest version of SCAL v4. Please advise.

Will you post a screenshot? I just checked the latest SCAL4 on both of my computers (PC and Mac) and they both still show Object On Path.

Never mind... I know what function you were using. That's not the one you want. Instead, you want to select both the text and circle and go to Effects>Object on Path. Refer to Section

Note that to use this function, start with a circle and the text. Make sure the text layer is above the circle layer on the Layers Panel. Then select both and go to Effects>Object on Path. The other function you were attempting to use is for converting text to a vector object. Note that you can also curve text using the Type on Arch option in the Text menu on the Tools Panel (left side).
