Registration Marks not showing/not printing

Hi

As the title says, no registration marks at all.

In the simple process of opening new, then I draw something (a saquare or a circle) then preview: check the button reg marks on (or on then off then on again) nothing in the preview except my object (the sqaure or the circle)

Same in the print command: I check the registration marks, no reg mark is printed except my square or circle.

I'm using SCAL 4.062 (not pro), with serial (activated). But I did not register (yet).

Do I have to do something to make those registration marks available? Calibrate?
My cutter is NOT connected to the computer yet.

Please help as this is blocking me in the process of creating the printing part of the job.

You have to register and activate the software, connect the cutter, set the cutter to yoursofteware. There are complete instruction on getting started on craftedge.com.
