I've played with SCAL 4. But I can't figure out how to do this properly.
What I need, Imagine a that I want for my customer a "pre-cut" shape. the shape is a simple circle. But if I use shape circle, the circle is closed and my mat go away. I want the circle not closed so the mat rest in place in the sheet. (in fact, several circles....) The end user has just to finish the cut with a simple cutter/knife to "close" the circles.
How can I acheive that in SCAL 4?
I tried circle shape then path, doesn't work.
I tried to draw by hand an half circle, no way it it a circle (hard to do this shape).
In fact, I'll have to do many of those pre-cutting, mostly circles (not closed) and elipses (not closed also).
Could you help please?
Many thx in advance
how to draw half circle or opened circle
Re: how to draw half circle or opened circle
Use the Eraser tool (left column, ~8th icon from the top). Unchec the option at the top that says Keep Closed Paths. Enter a size for the gap and then drag the mouse across the edge of the circle to break it.
