Need help with converting pic to cutable graphic..

Post by Jax »

I'm usually pretty good at this but on this one instance I just can't get it right. A friend of mines nephew just got drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals and she wants me to make a mug with his baseball card etched to it. I've tried several times to import and modify and it doesn't look right. The other problem is I"m working off of a baseball card image. I'll attach the cards to this thread. If any one can help I'd be very appreciative. I even tried to isolate just him in the card and still have problems with the converting to a cutable image.

If you aren't learning something new everyday you might as well just lie in a grave and wait for death.

There isn't enough contrast to get lots of detail. Here is my version. This is just a silhouette.

Thank you for trying. I also found that an issue where it's just not enough contrast/detail and the image if fairly small. I just thought it was me not able to do it. Thanks again for your help.
