SCAL & USCutter it pushes my vinyl up before it starts

I have been using SCAL 3 with my USCutter mh 871 but it pushes my vinyl forward a lot before it starts cutting. Anyone know why or can help at all? I know I can call their customer service but with young kids I don't have a quiet 30 minutes to be on the phone Thanks!

check the size of the mat and where you design is laying if you have a 12 x24 mat and your design is close to the left in landscape or to the top in portrait of your screen it will move so much vinyl as it is placing the image where it shows on the screen.
best to place your image either to the right in landscape mode or to the bottom in portrait mode or better yet to make your mat on the screen the same as your image and you will find you wont have so much coming out before the cut

I usually do a custom size to what I am needing to cut so usually I have it set to 24x24 or 26x30 and the image(s) normally take up the whole mat so I am not sure why it still comes out
