Ungrouping elements ...

We come to our SCAL experts to ask a question that we can't seem to find an answer to:

Can UNWELDED elements be ungrouped and grouped within the SCAL software, without using Inkscape?

Any feedback would be so appreciated. Thanks!

Under Objects in the menu across the top is Group and Ungroup, but whether the element is unwelded or welded, I don't know....I generally use two other software (won't say here!!) for my designing and than export to SCAL2 and cut out there. Put the element on the page and making sure it's selected, click on Object and than ungroup.

I have 3 version (or more) the oldest I have is 2.12 all the way up to the most current. I did it on all 3 computers plus my laptop. I have found out that if you will Group each design individually and then group all the designs together as one, then when I pull it in to SCAL and click on Ungroup, it will ungroup, but each design is still a solid stand on it's on, design. Hope that made sense. They did not have to be welded..... Hope this helps. Cheryl
