Why and How to Add a Signature to Your posts

Hi, If you want to add a signature to your posts click on the FAQ link on the top right of the forum there are a whole bunch of how to information for the forum.

They are not real descriptive but they give you some direction.

Here is how to add a signature.

First access the User Control Panel (upper right hand corner of the forum)

Select Profile

Select Edit Signature

You can also, and it is advisable to add your system information: SCAL vs, Inkscape vs, Cutter, Operating System. All of this information helps answer your questions, especially when they pertain to "why doesn't it work" :P

Time to post this AGAIN! With all of the cutters and vs of SCAL and the OS etc. It is very useful if all this information appears in your posts regardless of whether you are asking or answering posts.

Please add this information to YOUR Signature.

Oh, thanks! i wasn't processing at all that it was your signature for this site. I was thinking .... well, what the heck, I don't know what I was thinking! Thanks for letting me know. I'll go make one!

To get the best and fastest answer to your question add your system info to your signature so it is there always. System used does make a difference!

Adding a signature to your posts saves alot of time answering questions like what version of scal, what OS which does make a difference in the answer.

It seems like we need to bring this up again for all th new members. Adding your software and hardware information saves a lot of time getting a good answer if you supply all the information about your system in you SIGNATURE at the bottom of each post. This can happen automatically if you follow this very brief tut.
