Suggestion on "Posting of Subject Names"

Post by sstehman »

May I make a suggestion please? It is helpful if included in the subject is a brief description about the topic or request. It is helpful when scrolling through new posts, especially when someone needs help. Example "Subject: How would you weld letters?" may get a faster response than posting Help or Help Needed. . Also helpful if you are looking for information on a topic in the future and want to use the search feature.

It is only a suggestion please and not intended to offend.

That's a good idea. Other mb's have the ability to show the first couple lines of a post when you hover your mouse over the title...that would be great to have.

I too think it's an excellent idea. Thanks for suggesting it.

I would also like to make the suggestion that a name or initials be added to the filename of the designs one creates and shares. It would be nice to know who to give credit to later down the road if the file is used. Sorry to hijack your thread. I can start a new topic if you like. :)

I'm fine with all the great suggestions you are adding and they are great ideas. I started putting SS after my designs and starting putting them after others svg's also as I realized when first joining the forum, I didn't know where I got all the great designs in my files. Thanks everyone for adding to the thread.
