HELP PLEASE!

Hi there - hoping someone can help me. Just started huge project for TOMORROW (procrastination...) and just loaded my SCAL 2 to my MAC. Seems that my Cricut is version 2.0 and the only options are 2.1 and 2.3...which means I need to upgrade my firmware. However, I'm finding that there is no upgrade available for MACs!! is this true? is there a way? Thanks in advance for you help!

From what I read at Cricut message boards, you need to update your firmware on a windows pc. If you have a laptop, or a friend that has a pc you can update your firmware that way. So far, that is the only way to update for a Mac. Good luck.

ProvoCraft does not support Macintosh computer with the Cricut machines. I think they do support the Gypsy though. I think the new E2 might be supported. You will need a Windows based OS and Design Studio to upgrade the firmware. I know it sucks. I am sorry. I am Linux user so it's really frustrating for me to get anything to work Cricut on my system.
