inkscape to scal

Post by hellma »

Can anyone tell me of how to set up Scal so that when you import a file made in inkscape, it imports at the same size. Not even sure if this can be done but I am sure I seen it somewhere.
Thanks for any advice

If you look up at the dimensions of your project in Inkscape there is a lock you can click on up on the tool bar.. The normally works for myself..

There is a setting in the SCAL2 Preferences for this (Edit/Preferences/General). There is a drop-down box at the top, click on it and select Inkscape. It is worth looking through all of the Preferences tabs to see what options are available. :D

Thanks Heather will give this a try. Just checked preferences in scal and the drop down box I think you are talking about says 90 (inks cape) and the alpha fill was at 70% I have changed this to 100%. away to draw a simple box in inkscape to see if this helps.
