3. How do I update my firmware?
Right now, the only way to do this is from a Windows machine (XP SP2/Vista) by using Provo Craft's Cricut Desgn StudioTM software. They have a free trial version available for download which you can download and use to update the firmware on your Cricut machine.

There's no DS available at "that" site. DS is only available from cricut.com. And that is dated May 2010. So it should be fine.
