Where is blackout option?

I'm not finding my blackout option. is it a button somewhere?

(first night with my new "toy" - boy do I feel dumb tonight... LOL)

In the Shape Properties box, use the drop down arrow beside Normal and Blackout is one of the options.

what use does the blackout option have?

just curious because I'm clueless & have no creativity at all, lol.

I use it to cut an outline for an object... Does anyone know wat the mixed button is for?
