Slice a photo

Post by realred »

Not sure I can explain what I want to do, but this video shows it. https://youtu.be/vPDZ90vQxJs It's titled Using Avery for dark printable iron on. Will SCAL do this? I have v4.075. I have a Titan3 Scan and Cut plotter.
Thank you.

I upgrade to SCAL 5 this morning and can get the letters like I want them on the mat. Can I do a print and cut to put this on printable HTV paper? Thank you!!!

Yes, you should be able to do that. I see a Print and Cut button in the lower left corner of the Cut Settings window for the Titan 3. Click on that and there are on-screen instructions.

There is no print and cut button on the bottom left-hand side. What am I doing wrong?

This is what I see when I go to the cut window and have the Titan 3 selected:

Do you have Titan 3 selected and then NOT see that Print and Cut button in the bottom left corner?

I do not. What lever SCAL are you using? Looks like maybe a Pro version as I don't have the tabs at the top either.

I have the Pro version of SCAL and that's the difference. For certain brands of cutters, US Cutters being one of them, the print and cut functionality is only in the Pro version of SCAL. You can upgrade to the Pro version for the difference in cost ($139) using this link: http://www.craftedge.com/purchase/craft ... al5pro.php

One more question. The Titan3 comes with ARMS feature that automatically reads the registration marks. Will the Pro 5 support the ARMS feature?

Yes, apparently so. This is a screenshot showing the latest version updates in SCAL5 Pro.
