Star and flourish mesh

Post by jennifer mcquillan »

I'm not sure when but someone posted that they were looking for a mesh it had star and flourishes on it. I thought it was nice, so I made an attempt of making it myself. It's not exactly like the picture. But it cuts out great. The stars are from the scal program and a font called super star. The flourishes are from http://www.blinding-light.com that HeatherM posted. The spirals on the inside of some of the stars do not cut out. I can't figure out how get them too. There is a legal disclaimer on the flourishes so please do not use for commercial purpose and if you post it please include the link stated above. Thanks I hope you enjoy.

Best Wishes
Jennifer :)

I love it! I don't have anything installed right now to unzip a .RAR, but I am guessing that you welded the swirls to the stars? Just select the swirls and unweld them.

Thanks. Yes that's all I did. Real easy to make. Maybe someone knows another way to put it on here other then zip file. When I try to add it without it being zip it is to big. You can download the program free trail version which is what I have.http://www.win-rar.com/

Any other ideas will be great:) There is so much to learn to make your own svg ans scut files but it sooo much fun and everyone on here are amazing.

Heather there is a program called PeaZip that is free and will open .rar files. A lot of scrapbookers use that type file when they post their free kits on the web.

Yep, I used it in the past, but didn't like it so I uninstalled it.
