I've used this viewer for ages before I got my Cricut... they offer a 'paid for' version of course with more bells and whistles but I've only ever used the free version.

Enjoy!

AWESOME! Thanks for the link, I used to have a font browser, and one day, for no reason it stopped working! Since then i've tried to download "the font thing" and various others with no luck, this is the first one that has worked! :D Thanks!

I just learned yesterday that this capability is built in to Macs. Just choose Font Sampler from the Applescript tab>Info Scripts menu.
For instructions on viewing both installed and uninstalled fonts on a Mac see this post on my blog:

Kay, just wanted to thank you for bringing it to my attention that the Mac with a Leopard OS has this feature built in.
I followed your instructions and there they were! Wonderful! ;)
Thanks again!

How does the free and easy font viewer or the font manager work with SCAL? Do they show up? I am getting SO MANY fonts...most I won't even use I don't think....
Thanks!

The newer macs have a built in font viewer called font book. Just click on the finder and type font book.

Veronica,
Font Book won't print cheat sheets for multiple fonts on a page, unfortunately. It also won't view fonts that are not installed. For that there is another tip on my blog.
