Can version 2, 3 and 4 all be installed and used individually on my computer? I keep version 2 to use with my cricut .. but if I have to merge 3 and 4 that would be okay I suppose.

It should install it as a separate application. When you download, make sure you always save your download file for all versions separately so you can always revert back to it if needed.

Will SCAL-3 license work with 4? If not, is there an upgrade path/price?

I have SCAL2 to use with my Cricut.
Am I able to upgrade to SCAL4 and still use SCAL2 or do I need to buy it separately?

You will not be able to use the upgrade on the "cricut". There are not any SCAL versions other than the original SCAL2 if you already own it that is compatible with the cricut.

The compatible machines are listed on CraftEdge's site.

Technically version 3 & 4 do not work with the Cricut, BUT you can work in those versions and then send the design to version 2 and cut with it.

I am truly confused. I have SCAL ver 3. Is it necessary for me to purchase SCAL 4 since I have a previous version? The replies to this are not clear on this question. :?:

as I see it this is a new version not an upgrade and when you pass from version to version you pay for it; if you already have Scal3 then you pay a reduced price as someone said of $19,99.
