scal not recognized

I have an old personal cricuit version 1.3, and it worked fine with SCAL the last time I used it. Now, it doesn't seem to recognize it. The program after I click on the cut feature just keeps saying checking mat. Do you know
what could have happened? It cuts fine from a cartridge, just not with SCAL.

What version of SCAL (1.xxx or 2.xxx) and what operating system are you using?

What version of SCAL2? you probably need to update it to the last version released (2.043 or 2.044).
