hello. I have a fairly new Expression 2.35 and want to buy the discontinued SCAL2 from someone but want to make sure that it works with my cutter before I buy it. Any suggestion and help? THANKS!

If that is the new Expression 2 you are talking about, it will not work with SCAL. Others are looking at other machines such as the eClips and Cameo as they can use eCAL (eClips) or SCAL3 (Cameo). SCAL2 is not transferrable, so buying a used copy would not be much use to you. Even better, the newer machines do not rely on cartridges and cut much nicer.

I use SCAL2 on my E and I have the 2.3 firmware on it.
