Help new laptop and now scal will not work

Ok so my cricut create is v1.54 and my computer crashed and I get a new laptop. I go to use scal and it says only v1.51. Apparently I must of updated scal2 sometime but didn't have that update backed up. My version of scal2 is 2.039 and now I can not get any updates. Does anyone have any suggestions? If I could find a way to take my cricut back a few versions I would b/c without scal I only have 2 basic cartridges...aarrgghh Any suggestions? You can also email me at tmsn@triad.rr.com
