Help Digitizing a logo

Post by koates29 »

Hi! I was wondering if someone could help me convert this into an svg that I can cut with my cricut. I have SCAL, but I don't know how to use inkscape or any similar program to separate the letters so I can cut separately (in different colors). Can anyone help? And it's only for our decorations in our group... we're not selling anything :) Or even the name of the font for the M, P, and S would be helpful!

The font is FontBureau's Californian: http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/fontbureau ... nfb-roman/.
(I figured it out by modifying the file in Photoshop and uploading to WhatTheFont.com.)

Honestly, if you want to separate and cut the letters you'll need to clean up that file a bit. Request a press-ready file (which might already be in a vector format, if you're lucky) from mops.org and work from there, is my advice.

Hopefully this helps?
