i have seen these a few times but could never locate a cut file. So, being an advanced user of Illustrator i looked at the pics i've seen and created my own SVG file. I had never seen this cut in card stock before so i wanted to see what it would do. I made a really neat nest or Bell perhaps. this was cut with scrap, but will look awesome with some of the special papers that are out there...
enjoy
It was cut from SCAL on my MAC using the Expression. and set to 5 inches in SCAL
nest or Bell??? added one made from star too

Re: nest or Bell???
Very cool file. I also use Illustrator. When I open the file, I see you have 65 layers. Wow. Just curious why so many?

Re: nest or Bell???
hey there, glad you like it.
i know Illustrator well, but this is my first use of the SVG format. so perhaps it is the translation to SVG.
i opened the SVG file in CS3 and only see one layer. That single layer (parent Layer) has multiple elements which are tracked individually. are these the layers that you are seeing?

I use CS, so this may be how it translated to my older version. Are you going to try other shapes? It is really cool.
