Loopy Flower

Post by pastda3 »

I saw a similar flower on a card that I really liked, so I made my own version. Hope you like it. You might not have a problem with your machine, but I have a Cameo and my blade is getting kind of old and I noticed that slowing down the speed gave me nice clean cuts.

I like the design and really enjoy flowers.

Tip I've read before but haven't tried yet, but now since I have a dull blade I am going to. If you put aluminum foil on your mat and cut with your dull blade, it will sharpen the blade. Has anyone tried this?

An urban myth I think ;)

Thanks for the comments. Actually Papasue, I only used the loopy one. The other was left over from the design, so I decided to keep it. Here is the card I made with it which is a blatant copy of a card that was featured in Paper Crafts "Color Inspiration for Card Makers,"page 123, designed by Kim Kesti. This is one of my favor mags.

Sandy - I tried the aluminum with a Cricut blade and I don't think it made that much of a difference. I had read in lieu of cutting with aluminum, you can wad it up and run the blade across a few times. Never tried that.
