Arc a picture

Post by primandproper »

I have found plenty of tutorials on how to shape text but nothing on how to shape a png or svg file opened in pro?
Anyone?
Thank you.

"Shape" can mean many things. So, without posting a screenshot or a link to an online image, it's not possible to answer your question with any useful detail. All I can say is that in general, the customizing options in SCAL can be applied to any vector object, not just text. So, test out other choices in the Effects menu. Also, a PNG is a raster format and SCAL (like most cutting programs) focuses more on vectors since those are cuttable items. So, any imported PNG file will need to be traced before you can apply these various functions. Please post back if you want to do something specific and have an example to help us better understand.

Okay. Can you now provide a detailed description or, even better, an image showing what you want to achieve? The title of the post is "Arc a picture." Is this what you have in mind? Is this what you have in mind? This is the result of importing and tracing the pineapple stencil image and then placing it onto an arc using the Object to Path function:
