How to permanently "merge" to files?

Post by MichelleHuisamen »

Hi, to all...
I'm new in the Silver Bullet Cutter family as in the Sure Cuts Allot program. I want to merg (I do not think merge is the wright term) these 2 images at this point so that when I cut it, it cuts as 1...
Hope you can understand what I want to do, and I also hope someone can help me please, TIA*

I assume you plan to move them so that they overlap? If that's a correct assumption, then there are two ways to remove that overlap so that they end up cutting as one shape:

(1) Select both shapes and apply Path>Union

(2) Select both shapes and, on the Style Panel on the right, mark the Weld option. The same result applies but on the screen the two shapes will remain as individual shapes.

I cannot thank you enough, I over looked the Union option the whole time  , never registered the tiny picture. Here is the end result, thanks again*
