tracing

Post by kpattondesigns »

I am trying to trace a detailed image into sure cuts a lot but can't get the image to come out clear. I have tried changing contrast, unchecking alpha channel, and changing single line threshold but still can't get it clear enough. Can someone help me please?

That's a very difficult question to answer without having the image itself to examine. For example, is it black and white or colored? Is it a photograph or is it clipart? Does it contain lettering and other shapes with sharp corners or it it mostly made up of rounded shapes? What is the resolution of the image?

Increasing Contrast in the Trace Image window will increase how much of the image is included in the trace which should improve the connecting of the lines. Beyond that I can't help without seeing the actual image because every graphic is different from the next.
