Scal 2 and Scal 4

I have Scal 2 in my Windows PC but now I just bought a MAC. I wanted to keep my SCAL 2 to use with Cricut but I wanted to buy SCAL 4 to use in my MAC, so I could design in Scal 4 and then send it to cut in Scal 2.

So, I’d like to know, if I buy SCAL 4 to use in my MAC, is it possible to save a file in a pen drive and then open it in the Windows just to cut? I tried to do this with SCAL 4 DEMO but it didn’t work….
