to start up with SCAL?? Just a cord and cashola? If yes, what kind of cord? USB and ...

you will need a USB cable to go from your computer to your cricut.

you will also need to have the trial of CDS so you can update the firmware on your bug

The cord you can use is simply a computer to printer USB cord, so if you have an old printer cord, it will also work.
