Silhouettes
Silhouettes
Does anyone know how to make silhouettes? I'm looking to create something like stain glass lines. I know Susan Blue Robot has done this, but I didn't see a tutorial for doing it. Can anyone help?

Re: Silhouettes
In SCAL, you would make a Blackout of the image.
In INK, to make a silhouette of a traced image
1) Open and trace the image (it doesn't matter if it is a detailed trace)
2) Close the trace box
3) Delete the original image
4) Select the trace, then Path>Break Apart (your image should change to black)
5) Deselect the image and then select the largest of the boxes (which will be the silhouette) and move
6) You can then delete the other parts

AnointedHands,
Thank you so much for your post. I actually found out that the kind of image I wanted to create was part of a font called edges on Susan Blue Robot's site. Thanks for your help though.
